Worry Dolls

Take away your worries with a set of handmade Guatemalan Worry Dolls.

Worry Dolls or trouble dolls, are very small and colorful dolls traditionally made in Guatemala. There is a legend among the highland people of Guatemala that if you cannot sleep due to stress/anxiety, you can tell your worries to one of the dolls and place it under your pillow before going to sleep. By the morning the doll will have taken your worries away.

Each set come as six three-quarter inch tall boy and girl worry dolls in their own paint decorated, delicate wood box. Individual dolls are made from thread and cloth windings around wire.  Each box includes a small paper printed with the worry doll legend. Perfect gifts for children or as a kind gift for friends going through a hard time.
