GREEN GODDESS – WOMAN OF THE WOODLANDS AND FORESTS
Known varioulsy in the celtic world as abnoba or abona (the River Avon is named after her) and many other names. She is the protector of wild nature, woods, springs, rivers, forest plants and animals. Also known in Greaco Roman World as Artemis and Diana. There are altars surviving dedicated to Diana Abnoba. Original artwork by Katy Hooper taken from mixed leaves found on walks in native and mixed woodland. Each garment is hand tie dyed by Nick Hooper and hand screen printed by us using environmentally friendly inks onto cotton. Available as standard T-shirt or as a Womens V-neck fitted top. Vests, singlets and childrens available on request.
