Sourced directly from a village in northern Ecuador these soft 100% sheep wool ponchos come in a variety of 15 different colour mixes.
Blanca Pichamba is featured in the photographs above in her workshop. Because we work loyally with Blanca and her family, we can assure a happy working environment, sustainable fabrics and excellent quality. We have named our Ponchos “Shyris” after the people who resisted the domination of the Conquistadores
Fantastic for cold winter days or warm summer nights by the fire, these elegant indigenous-style ponchos are durable and long lasting whilst being soft to the touch. On all our travels they are the best we have found!
